Bounce Terms and Conditions


  1. All dogs attending Bounce will undergo a trial period (4 hours settling in period) to ensure that they are adequately trained and socialised to determine any specific requirements for each individual animal.

  2. Bounce will not confirm any booking until a consultation has been carried out with the client and the Registration Form has been completed & signed with full details of client requirements.

  3. We are unable to accept aggressive dogs due to the terms of the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991.

  4. Bounce reserves the right to cancel the contract at any time & with immediate effect if the dog does not respond well to the carer and/or other dogs. 

  5. Bounce must be alerted to any behavioural problems with their pets at the time of booking. Failure to do so may result in cancellation of any future bookings.

  6. Cancellation charges will be incurred unless booking is cancelled at least 48hours in advance. 

  7. If you are to collect your dog early from their stay at the Day Care you are not entitled to a refund.

  8. The balance of your booking should be paid in full a week in advance of your booking to Bounce by bank transfer or cash. 

  9. Bounce rates are charged from 07.30 – 18.00, Monday to Friday.

  10. All dogs will be exercised in a fully secure field at Bounce.

  11. No dogs will be taken off of the facility during the hours of 07.30 – 18.00 unless due to extreme circumstances (all owners will be informed as soon as possible in this case).

  12. If your dog is aggressive or bites another dog or person Bounce will contact you or the emergency contact provided and arrange for the dog to be taken to them where possible. If this is not possible the dog will be moved to a kennel with which charges will occur. 

  13. Dogs at the Day care will be supervised at a maximum ration of 1person:10 dogs.

  14. Dogs must have a suitable collar or harness and wear ID tags with owner’s details, as this is a legal requirement.

  15. If a Female dog is due a season at the time of attending the Day Care, Bounce must be informed prior to attending. Female dogs that are found to be in season may be turned away with a cancelation fee incurred.

  16. If a dog is not neutered/spayed Bounce will not be held responsible if your dog impregnates/is impregnated by other dogs.

  17. Bounce cannot accept un-neutered males over the age of 18 months old. As long as entire dogs under 18 months are not showing any unwanted behaviour they will be accepted.

  18. Bounce will apply personal judgment and alter timetables or cancel if necessary because of extreme weather conditions (i.e. heat, thunder storms) for the safety of both the dogs and the carer. 

  19. All dogs attending Bounce should be fully vaccinated (Parvovirus, Leptospirosis, Hepatitis, Distemper) and on a regular flea and worm treatment. Proof of this must be shown before attending a trial day.  

  20. Anyone using the Agility Equipment at Bounce does so at their own risk.

  21. Dogs under 12 months old are not permitted to use the agility equipment.  

  22. The client must provide all items & information necessary for pets to be adequately cared for at the Day Care in the client's absence. (i.e., food, medication, leads, tags, collars, etc). 

  23. If the owner doesn't supply enough food, Bounce reserves the right to charge costs incurred for purchasing the food back to the client.

  24. In the unlikely event that Bounce is unable to uphold the agreed booking due to exceptional personal circumstances, you or your emergency contact will be contacted as soon as possible and we will try and help you find a suitable alternative. 

  25. Home collection & drop offs can be provided for the Day Care by Bounce at an additional fee which will be arranged at the time of the meet and greet. Subject to availability. Collection times are between 07.00 – 08.00. Drop off times are between 17.00 – 18.00.

  26. If you are not using Bounce collection and drop off services. You will need to arrange for your dog to be dropped off at the Day Care between 07.30 – 09.15 and collected between 17.00 -18.00.

  27. If you cannot collect your dog on time from the Day Care due to unforeseen circumstances you may be charged additional costs. Where possible Bounce will arrange a drop off at a charge but if there is no availability you may have to arrange another form of transport for your dog. 

  28. The client must provide Bounce with the name and contact number of someone capable of making a decision relating to the dog(s) in an emergency. If the contact is not available Bounce reserves the right to consult with a veterinary surgeon and then make a decision that is in the best interests of the animal. 

  29. Bounce is registered with House & Jackson, Blackmore, Equine & Small Animal Hospital, Rookery Road, Blackmore, Essex, CM4 0LE. This will be the vet contacted in an emergency.

  30. Any costs owed to House & Jackson, Blackmore Equine & Small Animal Hospital, Rookery Road, Blackmore, Essex, CM4 0LE, must be paid by you in full or insurance details given to the practice. By signing the Bounce T&C’s you will be agreeing to this. 

  31. The client is responsible for any veterinary bills, no matter how they are incurred, whilst pets are in the care of Bounce.

  32. If your dog injures another dog or person you will be liable for any vets bills and costs incurred by Bounce or the owner of the injured dog. 

  33. Although Bounce holds Public Liability insurance, wherever possible the client should insure pets and details should be passed over. Bounce reserves the right to refuse a booking for any animal that is not insured. 

  34. Bounce will care for your animal as you would, and whilst we will make every effort to ensure your pet is well looked after in your absence, Bounce cannot be held liable for any loss, injury or death to a pet either inside or outside of the Day Care Facility whilst in our care. 

  35. By stating ‘YES’ to social media on the Bounce registration form you are confirming that photos and the name of your pet can be posted on social media sites.  

  36. All clients will be deemed to have accepted terms and conditions on signature of the registration form. 

  37. With the new GDPR law set to commence on 25th May 2018, Bounce requires your consent to hold information specific to you on file. Examples of the information we hold for you would be names, postal address(es), e-mail address(es) and telephone number(s). Your details will not be released to any third parties (other than those required for legal compliance) and your consent is required purely for the use of Bounce. By signing the registration form you give consent for personal details to be held by Bounce.
